Parking is available right in front of the building at no charge.
Susan’s office is located right off Hwy 36 on Baseline between 28th and 30th Avenue making it convenient for areas outside of Boulder.
Susan will work closely with your psychiatrist in making sure the goals of therapy are in alignment. If you do not have a psychiatrist and it is discovered in therapy with Susan that it may be helpful she has psychiatrist to refer you to.
Susan has worked with high conflict divorced families bridging the relationship for the teens and helping reduce the need for attorney’s involvement.
Susan has extensive experience in working with anxiety and depression as well as low self-esteem. She feels that the three are closely related and have can have a significant correlation.
Parents are apart of the therapy process when children and teens are involved. Each client’s process looks different as far as how many sessions and when parents attend during the process. Susan’s main goal is to involve parents, which provides long lasting change.
You pay at the time of service. Susan will provide a receipt for services that you can submit to your insurance company and they will reimburse you directly.
Susan takes Cigna insurance (in network) and takes other insurances as an out of network provider.
There is minimal paperwork. You will need to sign an informed content disclosure form. If a teen is the client you will authorize for them to be seen. If you are using your insurance you will have one insurance form to fill out.
Children and teens do not attend the intake session. This is meant to allow the parents to speak freely about the current issues and provide a detailed history.
